Our weather here near our nation’s capital continues to be warmer than usual, but that hasn’t stopped us from wanting to surround ourselves with fall’s vivid hues. Since nature provides most of our fall decor, it’s both easy and inexpensive to embrace the season indoors and out. Farm tables, linen runners, candles, pumpkins, and hydrangeas set the mood for our dinner in the barn!
Dinner for 24 in the barn!
I’ve had these white pumpkins for almost two months, and they are still going strong…I’ll keep them for our Thanksgiving table. The local markets in the DC suburbs sold out of white and heirloom pumpkins early this year.
These sunflowers were just opening up when I snapped this pic.
Our mums seem to really like the warmer weather, they still look great!
Halloween is starting to creep into the guest house. This lovely lady usually watches over the bar.
